How much is a service?

All of our servicing is bespoke, based upon the specific customer and bike needs. subsequently the price of a service varies. We usually ask to see the bike first to allow us to cast our eyes over it and provide an accurate quote. A safety service will start at around £50 plus parts. We will always let you know of the costs before we proceed with any work.

How do I book in a service slot with you?

We're a small team and as a result, there can sometimes be a bit of a wait time on servicing slots. To book in, drop us an email or give us a call. If you need some urgent work, give us a call to discuss and we will always do our best to squeeze you in sooner.

How long does a bike service take?

Where possible, we will try to get your bike in and out within the day. Sometimes additional parts are required and if we don't have them in stock, they can take a few days to arrive. We will always communicate any additional delays to you as soon as we're aware of them.

Can you service e-bikes?

Absolutely, we are experts in Bosch systems as well as being Bosch certified and have a wide range of knowledge on many other e-bikes. We use the latest Bosch Diagnostic software and have access to all genuine spare parts as well as being able to rebuild Gen2 and Gen3 Motors when out of warranty.

How often should I have my bike serviced?

This really depends on how often you ride it, where you ride it and how well you look after it! Rather than measuring servicing needs in time, we measure it in km/miles ridden. For the best maintenance of parts, ideally, a bike would be serviced every 500km or 6 months if used hard or if you look after it well it could be as much at 2500km. It’s worth noting mountain bikes and gravel bikes require more frequent service intervals than road bikes.

Do you offer ‘while you wait’ servicing?

We’re a pretty small shop, so we don’t always have the space for you to wait whilst we service your bike and the time it takes to do this can vary on the bikes needs. We are however, a short walk away from Lymington High Street and a lot of our customers will pop up there for a coffee or to do some shopping whilst we get to work. Alternatively, you can just head home and we’ll give you a call to let you know as soon as your bike is ready.

What services do you offer?

Servicing - We offer a range of services on a variety of different bikes including road bikes, gravel bikes, time trial, mountain bikes, e-bikes - the list goes on! (There’s very little we don’t do!)

I need some accessories but they aren’t listed on your website, can you get hold of them or me?

We have lots more accessories and parts in store. If there is something you are after, drop us an email or give us a call and we will be happy to see if we can track it down for you.

Do you sell bikes?

No, we focus on offering the best servicing and maintenance plus accessories sales of brands we know, use and trust. We occasionally sell pre-loved bikes on behalf of our customers and try to match buyer and seller up.

We don’t offer hire ourselves, however we are pleased to support the lovely ladies at Jaunt-E with the servicing on their awesome e-bike hire fleet.
